As the minister of mail delivery, let me just say it is my pleasure to have you join our fine line up of Postmasters here at the Postary.

I'm sure this year is one that will be filled with lots of good, clean work. The previous Postmaster of this village was carried off by some bloody bird while on their delivery route. Thus the position has opened and you, our fine-feathered, ahem, I mean fine-skinned fellow have risen up to the task and for that, I salute you.

As the Postmaster, you'll deliver mail and packages all over the village on your trusty broom. You do have a broom, don't you? Of course you do. But that's not all. You'll have the Postary all to yourself and be in charge of all of the exciting administrative work as well. Let's not forget the patrons who will stop by to drop off packages and ask the same questions repeatedly.

I suppose I should explain how to get started as well, since you are a new to all of this. First you'll need to create your Postmaster. Describe them in as much detail as possible. It's just like describing a criminal's appearance to the police except much more personal.

Then you'll need to decide which deck to use; a standard one or a tarot deck. Either one works brilliantly. After that, all you need to do is draw a card from your chosen deck and look up its corresponding prompt. You'll read through the prompt and write in your journal. Best to use an enchanted quill for this as you may end up doing a lot of writing!

Your job as Postmaster will run through the entire year divided into the four seasons, starting with Autumn. At the end of the year, you'll need to turn to the Ending section and reflect on year's events. And of course, you'll need to hand in your journal for yearly evaluation at the discretion of the Ministry, ahem, and so on, and so forth..

Note: The cover image's graphic was generated using ChatGPT. All of the writing was done by myself.
